Tinker Ting Theatre's 'Hunger'
Over the next few weeks, we shall be featuring a collection of short interviews and performances on film, which I shot at the 21st UNIMA Congress and Festival in Chengdu, China: 27 May to 3 June 2012.
Our first feature piece is 'Hunger' from Norway, containing an interview with puppeteer Per Arne Loset, who developed this provocative adult production, together with the UK-based theatre company, Pickled Image.
Then we meet Catalan Puppeteer and Journalist, Toni Rumbau, who has just launched three new international online puppetry publications; The Hồ Chí Minh City Vietnamese Water Puppet Company; The Guangdong Wuchuan Single Puppet Troupe 'Loyalty to the Country' ; Bread and Puppet Theatre's 'Songs from the Yellow Earth' and Visual Expressions' Butterfly Dreams.
